Accessories & Lifestyle Products Designer Needed
Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 05:59PM Our client is seeking an Associate Designer with experience creating accessories and lifestyle products for temporary, and potentially fulltime, work.
This position is responsible for designing accessories (hats, gloves, scarves, etc) and lifestyle products (desk accessories, lamps, pillows, etc) for specific target audiences. We're looking for 3-5 years of experience designing similar products, with relevant samples that we can share with our client.
Additional responsibilities include acting as support role to maintain assigned product from concept to factory production. Assists designer in all aspects of product design; including boards, approvals, samples, presentations, vendor communications, and meeting preparation. Coordinates packages, artwork and sketches with support teams. Communicates directly with merchant teams.
Position is initially onsite temporary work, with the opportunity to become fulltime if it's a good fit for both sides. Opening and need is immediate.
A variety of design backgrounds are acceptable, but experience should specifically reflect fashion or product design, with samples of accessory or lifestyle items to share with the client.
