“What a perfect culmination of my 30+ year career in the Columbus creative community!” Melody says. Now she can use her knowledge and experience in the industry to help talented creative people find the perfect job.

Melody has covered a lot of the bases in the advertising industry, coming to Portfolio after 20 years as a print production manager for a large Columbus-based advertising agency. At the agency, she developed relationships with suppliers and she worked with all the agency disciplines from design and copywriting to account services in both advertising and public relations.

Before moving to the buying side, she was a print sales rep and prior to that, was a paper consultant for a local paper merchant. After majoring in commercial and fine art at The Ohio State University, Melody began her career as a graphic designer.

Melody, a passionate critter lover, lives with her three cats, who, when not trying to help her send emails, assist with whatever else she may be doing – reading, gardening or crafting. They do, however, stay home when she goes antiquing. (They’re not allowed to help with all the baking she does either.)
